Clean Express Auto Wash Raises $6,000 to Benefit the Middleburg Heights Food Pantry
Cleveland, Ohio, March 19, 2021—Clean Express Auto Wash proudly announces the donation of $6,052.87 to the Middleburg Heights Food Pantry, to help further their mission of reducing food insecurity for people in need. The donations were collected from Clean Express Auto Wash customers at the company’s third Greater Cleveland-area Grand Opening held this past December, 2020 at 18170 Bagley Rd. in Middleburg Heights.
During the Grand Opening, Clean Express Auto Wash offered a free signature “Clean-est” car wash ($18 value) to every customer in exchange for a monetary donation to the Middleburg Heights Food Pantry. Clean Express Auto Wash also offered discounted retail gift cards with all proceeds donated back to the Pantry. Throughout the Grand Opening period, Clean Express Auto Wash gave away more than 2,400 free car washes at a retail value of more than $43,200.
“This Grand Opening fundraiser was particularly timely due to a 10x increase in the number of clients requesting service due to the holidays and Covid-19,” said John Roush, Express Wash Concepts CEO. “We are thankful that we could leverage our Grand Opening to raise money for such an important community resource, and will continue to look for ways that we can provide assistance to the Middleburg Heights community that has shown us so much love and support.”
Founded in 2003, the Middleburg Heights Food Pantry is a “client choice” pantry located in Midpark High School. Clients select their groceries depending on personal dietary restrictions and preferences, resulting in less food waste. In 2020, the Pantry has served more than 2,300 children, senior citizens and individuals.
